Hello and Greetings to the people of Earth!Well that may be a broad welcome, but most folks think of us artist as creatures from another world I just want to cover all the bases. I've been a working Makeup Artist for over thirty years. I love doing all types of normal looking and special effects makeup. I was not trained at a school but have taught for several schools and colleges in my state and in Canada. The movie "Dunsmore" is out on DVD as well as "Black Oasis".We finished work on two small features, "Delivery", a psycho pizza delivery man and "Automaton Transfusion", zombies, teenagers and military experiments. Also"Tragedy at Sea" for National Geographics. A true story. All of these shows have been great learning tools for my crew. We had little prep time and we still made them work. "Boy are we tired!" I hope to give useful info on how create many different items from makeup to props to simple fxs. I would like to know why you want to learn to be a Makeup Artists. This is a tough biz to be in.
